Awarded 4 stars from Failte Ireland(the Irish tourist board), Tailors Lodge is a luxurious purpose-built guest house, renowned for its warm welcome. Rooms are tastefully decorated to a very high standard with the ultimate comfort in mind for our guests.
The large bright entrance hall with double doors, lead into the spacious dining room,with a beautiful fireplace, and a magnificent grandfather clock, with easy listening music, a relaxed atmosphere and an extensive breakfast menu. Early breakfasts are catered for with something on our menu to suit all tastes. A warm welcome assured while visiting Tailors Lodge.
From the buffet you can choose from chilled juice, a selection of fresh fruit, prunes, grapefruit, a variety of natural & fruit yogurt, a choice of cereals including muesli, bran, rice, corn and wheat based cereals, freshly made porridge with a choice of toppings.

Freshly made pancakes, with maple syrup.
Scrambled Eggs served with Bacon or Smoaked Salmon
Grilled Kippers.

This stood out for us due to impeccable cleanliness, the fabulous welcome, the wonderful food, the ambience, the delightful room, the most gorgeous hostess imaginable. Don't hesitate people, this place is tops!!!
There were 2 couples in our party and Breda's Tailors Lodge was our favorite out of 4 B&B's that we stayed at on our recent vacation in Ireland. May 17-19, 2019 Breda goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Thank you Breda! We'd love to come back!
My 2 daughters and I stayed with Breda for 2 nights and had a great time. Breda was so welcoming, helpful and pleasant. She was able to assist us in ideas of things to do and places to go and was extremely accomodating to all of us
