Built in 1843, this Georgian style former Free Church Manse is set on large grounds with a sweeping driveway and provides a taste of recent Scottish history whilst exploring the North of Scotland. It is within easy traveling distance to the West Coast and Scottish Islands. Take a short break and stay with us a few days - we will do all that we can to make your first and subsequent visits something you will always remember and a place you look forward to visiting, time after time. We are only a stone's throw away from the famous Dalmore Distillery, the Black Isles which have a lot of sightseeing attractions, as well as the famous Pictish Stones which are scattered around our coast. We also offer a self catering cottage - Keepers Cottage as it is known offers 2 bedrooms, one double and single - bathroom, lounge with Freeview, WiFi and a galley kitchen.
Loch Ness - It is just a few mintues walk to the shores of the beautiful Loch Ness, which is some 23 miles long, over 700 feet deep and holds a greater volume of water than all the lakes of England and Wales combined - which probably explains the extremely infrequent sightings of the legendary 'Loch Ness Monster'. Cruises on the loch can be arranged in Fort Augustus on board the very well equiped 'Royal Scot'. Cruises can also be arranged in Drumnadrochit, the location of the original Loch Ness Monster centre.
All our rooms are ensuite and are tastefully decorated to a high standard with Antique pine furniture and with flat screen digital free view T.V. some with D.V.D. They have personal security safes, hairdryers, radio alarms, fridges for your personal refreshments etc, complimentary tea & coffee, wine & bottle openers. Our rooms are fully central heated in the winter and have fans for the hot summer.

Free private off street parking is available for visitors traveling by car or motorbike. Along with you room key we provide a front door key, so you have access all day & night. All our rooms have en-suites with shower facilities. They also have colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and homemade treats. WiFi is free in all rooms. Breakfast is a traditional Scottish one, which includes Haggis. We have some beautiful views from the bedrooms towards landmarks such as Arthur's Seat, The Royal Observatory. The Braid Hills and The Hermitage of Braid are just five minutes from our guest house with some beautiful scenery and some lovely walks.

We are 5 minutes drive from the dramatic Dunnottar Castle, 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station, 10 minutes from the unique art deco open air swimming pool and 10 minutes walk from the picturesque harbour. A 10 minute walk will take you to the small, independent town centre shops and restaurants. In a further 5 minutes you can enjoy the picturesque harbour and its pubs.
