About Murphys Farmhouse B&B
A sixth generation working farm, Murphy's B&B is nestling at the foot of the Slieve Mish Mountains on the Dingle Peninsula. The farmhouse is ideally located on the road to Dingle and on the Wild Atlantic Way for touring the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Castlemaine village is the gateway between both areas. This traditional and comfortable farmhouse, offering B&B, is renowned for its friendly welcome and excellent cuisine, providing an extensive breakfast menu to choose from, which will satisfy the most discerning of food lovers. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, king size beds, electric blankets, television and tea & coffee. For the golfing enthusiast, Murphy's Farmhouse B&B is ideally located as it is within a 30 minute drive from the following world renowned golf courses. These include Killarney, Ballybunion, Barrow, Dooks and Killorglin. Walking is another activity that the area is proud to offer. Murphy's Farmhouse B&B is perfectly situated for the Kerry Way and the Dingle Way walking routes. Inch beach is a 15 minute drive where surfing and windsurfing is available.

There was a great pub with great food just down the road, which we were able to walk to. Would definitely recommend this B&B to others and would stay here again if I come back!
We stayed three nights at this lovely, quiet, and peaceful location in Boolteens, near Castlemaine, Co. Kerry. The easy to find location was just perfect for jaunts into the Dingle Peninsula, Limerick and Ring of Kerry. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable, and had the largest ensuite bathroom of all our B&B reservations. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was a delight with great choices, and deliciously prepared food served by one of the many 'Marys' of the Murphy family. Although our view from the second floor looked out to the farm buildings, someone placed a beautiful pot of flowers on the roof outside the window which was a lovely surprise. It was a pleasure staying there during our trip and I can highly recommend this establishment to others. For us a much better choice than staying in busy Dingle town or other such locations. This was a calm retreat at the end of each tiring travel day.
