In the former stables of the ancient watermill this delightful B&B is situated on the La Bonnieure river within walking distance of the historical town of Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure. It cab be found in the south-west of France between the cities of Cognac to the south, Limoges to the east, Angouleme and inland of La Rochelle. The delightful gardens and the beautiful Charente countryside offer peace and tranquility to relax in and refresh the weary traveler. The B&B offers 3 double rooms, each individually decorated to a high standard. In the local town, Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure visitors are presented with a selection of good restaurants, the excellent and inexpensive, a cinema, tourist office, Church, banks and all the shops and services modern-day living demands. There is a market in the town on Wednesdays and Saturdays and in addition a major market or foire is held on the 22nd of each month unless it falls on a Sunday.
