As we prepare to reopen we do so with the safety of our team and our guests at the forefront of everything we do. We are following guidelines for reopening businesses that have been issued by the HSE, the WHO, our Government, sector agencies such as the FSAI and the HSA as well as Failte Ireland. This is to ensure that Foleys is a safe & welcoming environment for you and your loved ones. We have made changes in the following areas of our guest journey to ensure you have a safe & enjoyable experience with us: 1) Employee & guest health - physical distancing guidelines will be embraced and hand sanitiser stations available throughout the restaurant & guest house. Frequent cleaning & disinfecting will be carried out in all public areas with particular attention paid to high touch areas such as elevator buttons, door handles, room keys and the front desk. All employees will receive training on COVID-19 safety and disinfection protocols. 2) Restaurant - with 3 separate dining rooms, Foleys Restaurant has ample space to seat our guests in a safe and welcoming environment. Dining tables, seating and couches have been rearranged to ensure we adhere to the physical distancing guidelines allowing, for a safe and comfortable dining experience. 3) Bedrooms - Our housekeeping team will be following advanced cleaning protocols for the bedrooms & bathrooms with particular emphasis placed on disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as: desks, countertops, tables and chairs â€“ phones and remotes - thermostats - cabinets, cupboards, shelving - doors, door handles and doorplates - windows, mirrors and frame - lights and lighting controls - closets, hangers and other amenities. 4) Breakfast service - While the buffet element of our breakfast service will now cease, breakfast will be prepared to order and guests will be allocated a time to be seated in the dining room. Dingle B&B: Our renowned family-run guesthouse is located just 1 minutes' walk from the heart of Dingle Town. We are a family run Bed and Breakfast, The Ford. Nestled amongst the Caha Mountains, overlooking the Sheen River and six miles from the well-known heritage town of Kenmare noted for its Award Winning Restaurants, Galleries and Craft shops. The Ford Bed and Breakfast is located on the Beara Way, making it a prime location for keen walkers. Also being ideally situated for touring the unspoiled Beara Peninsula, and the famous Ring of Kerry. Molly Gallivan's Cottage and Traditional Farm is only a five-minute drive away. World famous Garnish Island Gardens in the idyllic village of Glengarriff are only a twenty-minute drive away. The newly opened Bonane Heritage Park is five minutes walk from us. This park contains many ancient sites of archaeological interest, ring forts, stone circles, a famine ruin and standing Stones. It shows that our parish of Bonane was inhabited 6000 years ago. Guided walks can be arranged around the park.
