St. Finbarr's Pilgrim Way, a 37km ancient pilgrim path to St. Finbarr's hermitage at Gougane Barra, also starts here. The walkways discover a landscape of remarkable beauty, undulating farmland, pristine riverbank and a largely unspoiled flora and fauna.
