Brigadoon House is situated on the Dingle Peninsular, overlooked by the Sleive Mish mountain on one side and the highest mountains in Ireland, the McGuillicuddy Reeks, on the other side. Separated by the estuary on which Inch beach lies 10 minutes away. This beautiful location is central to Killarney, Tralee and Dingle with the Ring of Kerry a short drive away. We are also home to a multitude of world class golf courses. Beautiful scenery, pleasant surroundings and luxury accommodation. Our rooms can cater couples to families, to large groups. Our family rooms have a double bed and 2 singles bed with the option of an additional bed. All our rooms are en suite featuring a power shower in each bathroom, complimentary toiletries and towels. Rooms are serviced daily and fresh towels are provided each day. We have tea and coffee making facilities in each room, with hot chocolate and biscuits for the children! All rooms have a flat screen TV and complimentary wifi throughout the house. Each room has a French door leading to the gardens where tables and chairs are provided for you to relax and unwind in the evenings. Breakfast is served each morning with a wide selection of items from a full Irish breakfast to a fresh fruit smoothie, homemade scones and soda bread. Its the oldest festival in Ireland and is held on the 10th, 11th and 12th of August. A goat is crowned King Puck and honoured in the centre of town for these 3 days. Killorglin is jam packed with free entertainment such as open air evening concerts and street entertainment. In the centre of Castledermot town, set in the old school of the town is a hidden gem. The School House was a Restaurant for many years and was know through out the length and breath of Ireland, where chef and owner John Doyle cooked up delicious meals from local quality produce..... Now its been used as a Bed and Breakfast, Where weary travelers can rest, sleep and enjoy a harty breakfast after there blissful nights sleep, cooked by John Doyle. John Doyle is also a talented artist, with some of his art available to view in the breakfast room.
Watersedge is a purpose built B&B nestled in the Sheen Falls woods and is just 10 min walk along the waterfront to Kenmare Town. Our bedrooms are finished to a very high standard. All our rooms are ensuite with power showers, hair dryers, flat screen television and DVD. The beds are fully orthopaedic and floors contain hollow core concrete sound proofing. There is hot tea / coffee and biscuits available all day in our guest dining room which overlooks the harbour. We have an extensive library with books, local maps and a large selection of DVDs. We also have cards, chess and other board games to enjoy. Our garden deck is a great place to relax with a good book and a coffee. Please make our home your home.
