Villa Pio is situated near Cong village, location of the film 'The Quiet Man' and gateway to Connemara. We are blessed with a beautiful area of woodlands and natural scenic area, perfect for walkers and those enthusiastic about the outdoors. Our home is less than 3km from the lovely village of Cong and is very close to the Connemara countryside, which offers breathtaking scenery, a tranquil setting in which time stands still. Carraig Liath house is a purpose built Valentia stone house, which overlooks the beautiful fishing village of Portmagee with views of the sea, islands and the mystic Kerry mountains. Ideally located as a base to visit the famous Ring of Kerry or the Skellig Islands now an UNESCO heritage site, where boats trips depart daily and can be arranged on request. Carraig liath house consists of three large en-suite bedrooms, all tastefully decorated to a very high standard, with orthopaedic beds, power showers, hairdryers, tvs, tea and coffee and free high speed internet access , all with comfort in mind. Five minutes walk to Portmagee where you can sample traditional music on Friday and Sunday nights, and why not partake in the Irish night on Tuesdays nights. Clare Manor is ideally located on the Limerick Road on the outskirts of Ennis town and 20km from Shannon Airport. The house is situated off exit 12 of the M18 motorway. Leave the M18 at junction 12, then at the Killow West roundabout take the first exit onto N85 (signposted Ennis, Ennistimon). At the Clareabbey roundabout, take the third exit onto the Limerick Road - R458 (signposted Ennis). At the next small roundabout, take the second exit. Clare manor is the fourth house on the right. Rathcore is also the home to Boggans a thatched pub dating back to the 1792. Fishing is also close at hand with the Boyne and Blackwater rivers running through the nearby villages of Longwood and Enfield. There is also Hare Hunting available with the Tara Harriers and we would be pleased to accommodate your horse here at Bothy Cottage or organise a horse for you to hire. This farmhouse is over 300 years old and is situated in the picturesque Glenflesk valley. We are located nine miles east of Killarney town on the N22 road. We have six comfortable bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a guest sitting room. There is a no smoking policy at Salmon Leap Farm. Salmon Leap has private parking, central heating, power showers, tvs in bedrooms and is approved by the Irish Tourist Board. This is an ideal base for touring the South West of Ireland. For visitors interested in walking or hill walking, we offer advice for walks on a number of local hill walking routes. We can adapt the walks to suit your level of fitness.
