About Gleann Na Smol B&B

Gleann-na-Smol is located in the centre of the village of Howth close to Howth Harbour and cliff walks. We offer a friendly warm and comfortable home with plenty of Irish charm. Homemade soda bread, brown bread and home made preserves are a speciality in our home. We are members of Bord Failte and Fingal Tourism. We are highly recommended by Lets Go and Europe Tourist Book.
Howth is regarded as the best kept secret for our tourists in the Dublin Region and Howth Castle and its beautiful grounds are a favourite with most of our guests. We look forward to welcoming you to Howth and to our tranquil home close to both airport and city centre.

Without question the most lovely stay I have ever had when traveling to other countries. Shaun is a fantastic host. The breakfast are made to order. it feels like being at home - very comfortable and relaxing. It is close to everything - the cliff walks, the pubs, the pharmacy, the grocery store and restaurants. Easy walking to the marina and the main part of the city of Howth. Also, walking distance to the rail the goes into Dublin. Highly recommend with a 5 star.

We loved our stay at Gleann Na Smol B&B. Sean is an excellent host, made us feel welcome from the first moment we met. Sean is up each morning to greet you, make your breakfast and happy to help you with your adventure into the city. Sean is very knowledgeable and enjoys sharing the history of the B&B, Howth and Ireland in general. It was nice for our first time to review our plan each day with Sean and guest to get feedback as to best times, best route and best place to eat in the area. Another enjoyment was the other guest that were staying there too. We left with more friends than we came with. We will visit Sean again.

Sean was a lovely, friendly host and very helpful with information about getting around Dublin. Breakfasts were delicious and the room was warm and comfortable. Howth itself is a lovely place to stay. We wish we had had longer there.
